Support at Christmas
At Second Step we want to make sure that the people we support can find the help they may need when services, including ours, slow down over this festive period.
We’ve put together a guide for you which also includes what’s going on in your communities. Thanks for your continued support over 2019 and here’s to #hopeandcourage for 2020!
Crisis support
If you are in crisis and need immediate support please dial 111 or call the Samaritans on 116 123 or email jo@samaritans.org. These are both available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
SANELine, 0300 304 7000, is a mental health helpline offering specialist emotional support, guidance and information. Open every day of the year from 16:30-22:30.
You can find out about other services using this guide from the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group.
Second Step Offices
Our Bristol, Somerset and North Somerset reception and offices will be closed from 3pm on Tuesday 24 December and open again at 9am on Friday 27 December. We will then be closed again on Wednesday 1 January, reopening as usual at 9am on the 2nd.
If you think you will need additional support through this time please do speak to your support worker.
