VCSE Mental Health Alliance gets new Independent Chair

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Sandra Meadows MBE to the role of Independent Chair of the VCSE Mental Health Alliance in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG).

A former Chief Executive of Voscur, the leading support and development agency for Bristol’s voluntary community and social enterprise sector, Sandra brings years of knowledge and experience to the role. She also served on the Bristol Mayoral Commission on Race Equality and the Commission for Women and is currently a trustee and non-executive director of several local organisations.

As a former VCSE Advocate and Sector Leader, Sandra has a wealth of experience of working collaboratively with statutory partners at a strategic level. Her current role as Chair of the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action also provides her with regional and national perspectives that inform her work.

We’re delighted to have an independent chair to help develop the Mental Health Alliance to help ensure our voice is heard and influence felt across the health and social care sectors in our region.
