Elyzabeth aka Susan
I was born into the creative heart of New York City, Greenwich Village.
As a child I was confined to bed for long periods of time, and my love of designing things began there.
I made small rooms with furniture that I designed, paintings, colourings and all sorts of explorations and mish mosh.
I am an organic artist.
I try to follow the patterns of whatever medium I’m using, clay, I go with the form it seems to want to take, ripped cardboard, sculpture out of what I find, jewellery of carved Buddha heads.
My early loves were Matisse, Modigliani, Toulouse-Lautrec.
Susan's testimonial
This program has helped me more that I can say.
I have been an artist all of my life .
I have studied and worked with Ceramics, Bronze, Oils. Mosaics and almost everything in between .
For the past couple of years I have been feeling too depressed to work on my art, at all.
For me, this program has been like water to seeds just left on the ground.
The programs you have used to inspire us were brilliant,
Dadaism , The CObra Art Movement and Asemic Writing
Without Words were all exciting and stimulating.
This program has picked up my spirits are brought me back to one of my biggest sources of happiness in my life, my art,
I am also back to my writing as well, and, now I am putting together a book of some of my short stories.
I can't thank you enough , please consider continuing this program, as I'm sure there are many other people with mental problems, who will benefit from it was much as I have.
Special Thanks to Alessandra McAllister.
